She has recently made “Two/One”, starring Boyd Holbrook and Beau Bridges, Juan Cabral’s debut feature film premiered at Tribeca and was released worldwide by MUBI in 2020.
Juan Cabral is a film, music video, and commercial director. His first feature film, Two/One, debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York and premiered worldwide on MUBI in 2020. It stars Boyd Holbrook, Song Yang, Zhu Zhu, and Beau Bridges. His second feature, Risa and the Wind Phone, debuted at the Mar del Plata Film Festival, where it won Best Argentine Feature Film and Best Director. His third feature, The Match, is a documentary about the Argentina-England match in the 1986 World Cup and is part of the official selection of the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. In advertising, he directed and wrote ‘Gorilla’ for Cadbury, voted the favorite commercial in English history. He is also the creator of the famous Sony Bravia trilogy (Balls, Paint, and Play-Doh) that redefined advertising in the last decade. In 2016 and 2022, he was nominated by the DGA — Directors Guild of America — for Best Commercial Director. He also directed Rolex's 2019 Oscar campaign, featuring film icons such as Martin Scorsese, Alejandro Iñárritu, Kathryn Bigelow, and James Cameron, and is recognized for directing iconic videos for Babasónicos, including "La Pregunta" and "La Lanza," which won the Gardel Award for Best Music Video.
